N2Health’s vision is to continue to build the health infrastructure in the Northern Neck to ultimately establish the region’s first federally qualified health center (FQHC). An FQHC is a community-based and patient-directed organization that delivers comprehensive, culturally competent, high-quality primary health care services to the nation’s most vulnerable individuals and families, including people experiencing homelessness, agricultural workers, residents of public housing, and veterans. Health centers integrate access to pharmacy, mental health, substance use disorder, and oral health services in areas where economic, geographic, or cultural barriers limit access to affordable health care.

The Northern Neck FQHC will expand critical access to coordinated care management of patients with multiple health care needs. Through our institutional know-how and strong partnerships with public health organizations and academic institutions, we will employ key quality improvement practices, using health information technology, to reduce health disparities in our rural community.
